Trinity vs. Haiti

Last night, we got to participate in a rare treat- a half international soccer game! Now, I am not one for soccer. I don't even know how the time works. But, we decided to go last night because Trinity College, right down the street was playing the country of Haiti. Haiti is practicing in San Antonio for the next two weeks because their facilities were hit by the earthquake and this was their first game since it hit. They are getting ready for their next game against Argentina, who is #3 in the world! So, we thought we had to get in on this little piece of culture and went with our good friends: Dave and Katie. We walked from their house to Trinity's small stadium/field with our babies and had the greatest time! (sorry about the picture quality- we forgot our camera and had to use the iphone...)

June was supposed to be asleep all bundled up but she wanted to watch soccer too or at least how we reacted to it, so she stayed awake until I put a blanket over her stroller.

At the end of the game, I wanted to get a picture with one of the Haitians, but there were super long lines to talk to them, so I just got my own picture: (that guy is one of the players...)

Fun night!
