San Antonio Couples' Shower

Ok, so here are my enhanced pictures with our new camera, and a little editing with photoshop. i have NO IDEA what I am doing with photoshop yet, and it is very frustrating, so this is very amateur, but at least its something! I would have put alot more, but all my time and energy was spent on these two :)

These pictures are from our couples' shower last weekend here in San Antonio. Two couples from our small group- Raygan and Mike and Jarrett and Kelly, as well as Kelly and Amber down the street hosted it for us and we had so much fun! We got lots of great gifts and ate great food! It was really a girls shower and the guys cooked out outside and watched football. We just wanted to include them :) I cant believe she will be here in a little over three weeks!

Lubbock Baby Shower

I am in Lubbock right now and just had the cutest, sweetest shower this morning at Janis Buschman's house. It was all wonderful ladies that I had known growing up and a few girls my age too! I got so many adorable clothes and stuff I needed. I think I might be starting to feel a little more ready for little June!

I had to include this cute picture of mom, mimi, and Dee Craig ( my pediatrician's wife from growing up, who lives next door to mimi and papa ).

It was an adorable shower and I had so much fun being the center of attention (as anyone who knows me knows I love!) And don't judge my new camera skills yet- they have not arrived. I am still in training... :)

Cold outside!

Since it is so cold outside and so cozy inside by the fire, I have been looking at some pictures of cozy rooms. I thought I would include a few, so that you can pine over the excellent decorating skills these houses have displayed!

I hope you have somewhere cozy to nestle up in the cold. Dan built me a wonderful fire today, and I am getting in some good reading and blog browsing this afternoon. There's nothing like a cold day and a cozy fire!

So I know that all other blogs are way past their Christmas and New Year's posts, but I am just getting on the ball here, so bear with me...

We had a wonderful Christmas with both sides of the family, first in Lubbock, then Dallas and I was going to share a few pictures, but I must announce my intention of better photo-taking, because my current skills are sub-par. You will notice this professionally taken picture (of a perfect specimen, I must say) by my adorable husband with our new camera, but the photos will improve and improve, because he bought me Adobe Photoshop and we got a fancy camera, so now the whole world of photography is open to me! This may not sound too exciting to anyone else, but I have received much inspiration from my friend KK, so who knows what you will see next!
